40% les fat then butter - Brie!

Got a taste for Brie? You know, the yummy fancy imported ones?



This is Fromagerie 31 in Paris, my favourite cheese shop, possibly in the whole wide world. I can just smell and taste it from here...

    really 40% less fat than butter? Some of the cheese I was eating in France was 60-80% fat. I dont know how they do it but it tastes bloody good.

    Yes, butter is between 80-85% fat and the brie is 45-50% so about 40% less.
    Some triple creams are higher in fat and yes, more fat=more flavour hehehe
